During the night, Russian aerial assaults have caused blackouts in large parts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were hurt while local people in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with problems to drinking water, as stated by municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a minor was fatally injured in a distinct Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, according to regional authorities.

Moscow has intensified strikes on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while the country's government has requested "substantial measures" from allies to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the United States, European nations and the G7 - in supplying air defence systems and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a public message.

Authorities reported that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 projectiles struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as the weather cools.

Government representatives said Moscow was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were working to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles struck energy infrastructure and residential structures in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the assaults on the city have been transported for medical care, according to city authorities.
